Disney Ornaments

Hi Guys! This is the first time in two years I've been able to use my Disney Ornaments! They have entertained many a grandchild, as well as their Grandma Susan. If you come to my house, you can complete an "I Spy" list of all the ornaments. You'll find:

101 Dalmations
Snow White
Beast (Of Beauty and the Beast)
Genie from Aladdin
Pinocchio
Fantasia Mickey
Daisy Duck
Chip or Dale?
Belle (Of Beauty and the Beast)
Aeriel
Dumbo
Dale or Chip?
Minnie Mouse
Guy Smiley (Sesame Street)
Ruby
Minnie Mouse
Genie (Again--Oops. Too bad I can't delete.)
Snuffy
Tinkerbell
Winnie the Pooh
I apologise for the poor quality of the pictures. My perfectionist side says to do them over. My practical (check it off the list) side says "They're Good Enough." Merry Christmas!

CARNIVAL CRUISE TO CATALINA AND ENSENADA

Isn't this just the best picture?! How great to be going on a cruise with the one you love!

We ate outside with avian friends.
We felt like we were in "The Birds."

Richard went to get dessert and guess what?

Lolo's Barber Shop in Catalina.

It's quite the place!

Lots of celebrity pictures.

And baseball paraphenalia.

Catalina from the Ship.

Tiny and Julie from Australia. We rented a golf cart with them to tour the island.

Ship from the tender.

Fun things in our cabin each night!

Model of the Ship.

Our dinner companions for one of the meals!

Our waitress dancing in the ailes and the kids joined in.

Fun, fun, Fun!

Kate and Tess.

Scott and Tess and Kate.

Look hard to see great musician. We enjoyed him so much we danced to his music!

We didn't care that we were the only ones dancing!
We like to "think outside the box," plus we're old so we can do what we want!

Another combo we liked a lot.
Beautiful clouds with the sun shining through them.

Water balloon toss with high tech equipment!

We tried to take advantage of the pool. I've got my suit on and four towels to keep warm!

Another view of the Sun Worshipers.

I gave up! Richard is wearing all my towels too now.

The Big Bean Bag Toss Tournament!

Look at that wind-up!

Look at that delivery!

We had a wonderful time. So fun to be with Scott and Kim and the Kids too. Thanksgiving dinner was even exceptional. In fact all the food was. We really enjoyed ourselves.

70th Birthday!!!

The bulk of the Blog is below these pictures. Cut and Paste doesn't work for me with either the pictures or the script. Deal with it! I'm so frustrated. Regardless, I had a GREAT 70TH BIRTHDAY!

Dear Friends in the Blogosphere!

Thanks to many of you, I reached my goal to receive 70 cards for my 70th birthday! My daughters shamelessly called and/or emailed anyone who remotely knew me and asked them to send cards! I heard from some very long-time friends for the first time in years. It was WONDERFUL! And thanks to all of them for being such good sports.
In addition to actual "received via USPS," I got e-cards too. Also, a birthday song on my answering machine from Nauvoo where the Visitor's Center President and his wife took time out to remember me.

I had a wonderful birthday. Richard took me to a movie, which was my heart's desire. The movie didn't measure up to our expectations, but the popcorn did!

Then we went to Kirin's Restuarant with family and friends. It was so much fun. One dear friend gave me a deck of playing cards (52) plus an additional 18 cards. She said, "I heard you wanted 70 cards for your birthday." Hilarious!!! And oh, so clever! So I did get 70 cards, twice!

What I want to do now is show you the picture of my front door where I have most of the cards taped. It's a work of beauty to me! I want the picture to be down here, but as soon as I download or attach it or whatever it is that I do to get it, it will be at the beginning of the post. Heavy sigh. I'm such a novice at this. Oh wait, I'm old now. That's to be expected! (Copy/Paste doesn't work.)

Next, I want to show you some pictures we had taken. I want to put them here, but they'll be up there.
